Candice T. Thomas, LCSW-C, ACSW received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.  She is currently licensed in the State of Maryland as a Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical, as well as licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as having a designation with the Association of Certified Social Workers.  She is also a qualified, registered and Board approved Supervisor with the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.  She has also received an advanced certification in Psychotherapy from The Baltimore Psychotherapy Institute.  Ms. Thomas has conducted individual, family and group therapies with children and adolescents diagnosed with mental health issues for over 10 years.  She created and executed a Pet Therapy program at Hannah More School in Reisterstown, MD.  She has been recognized in Animal-Assisted Interventions for individuals with Autism by Merope Pavlides, a publication noting the efficacy of Animal Assisted Therapy with Children diagnosed with Autism, and has been noted in articles printed in Baltimore’s Child, The Baltimore Examiner, The Owings Mills Times and Community Times Newspapers.  Ms. Thomas takes great pride in assisting children and families with moving beyond their child’s diagnosis and recognizing their potential.  
 
Tarahn Harris, MSW, has over ten years of work experience providing individual and family therapy to children and families.  He has worked with children placed in treatment foster care and has extensive familiarity and experience with the Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Systems.  He is certified in the NTU Psychotherapy Model and Crisis Intervention.  He implemented “Boys 2 Men”, a weekly discussion group for adolescent boys based on self exploration, peer interaction, and beliefs about “manhood”.  He is committed to working with youth and the development of family strengthening.
 
Gillian Gregory, LGSW is the Research Coordinator for University of Maryland School of Social Work, Ruth H. Young Center for Families and Children. Her work at the Center has enabled her to collaborate with The Maryland Department of Human Resources to improve and enhance the quality assurance system for Child Welfare in Maryland. Additionally she trains programs across the country in replicating Family Connections-an evidenced based neglect prevention program. She has co-authored two publications that are currently in preparation focusing on a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the effects of the Family Connections intervention for grandparent caregivers and on father involvement.  Gillian also has over ten years of clinical practice experience. She has conducted individual, family, and group therapy, and has worked with families and children in public and private child welfare agencies. She has also worked as a school mental health clinician in the Baltimore City Public School system and has trained Baltimore City school police and resource officers in the Enriched Structural Family Therapy Model. As a social worker, Gillian’s personal mission is to serve individuals and families in a variety of capacities that foster empowerment, self-sufficiency, and prosperity in all areas of life. Gillian is a licensed graduate social worker in the State of Maryland and received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, School of Social Work.
